Father Eddie Voltz

Chaplain and Director of the Catholic Student Center

Fr. Eddie Voltz is currently the chaplain at the Catholic Student Center serving Lindenwood University.  He also serves the Archdiocese of St. Louis as the Associate Vocation Director and as the chaplain at Duchesne High School.

Fr. Voltz is originally from Buffalo, New York, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in elementary and special education from Geneseo State University.  He worked fulltime as an elementary public school teacher for three years, before an experience working at a Lutheran summer camp slowly lead him to realize God was calling him down a different path.

He enrolled at Steubenville University in Ohio, and obtained a Master’s Degree in Theology in 2007.  This brought him out to Missouri for a job in youth ministry, where he spent four years at one of his favorite places on earth, Sacred Heart Parish in Troy, Missouri.  This experience was hugely influential in his discernment to the seminary and the priesthood.  He has now been serving the Archdiocese of St. louis as a diocesan priest since his ordination in 2015.

Among the things he loves, in no particular order, are working with college students, Jesus and the Catholic Church, any type of coffee, hanging out with his brother and sister, and as any true Buffalonian will tell you, he loves his Buffalo Bills!
